Working out with Aumnie Canada

Hey guys,

This weeks post is about a really quality Canadian brand that I've recently been pretty obsessed with. A major part of my motivation to work out all the time and stay consistent is cute & quality workout clothing. I also love supporting Canadian brands so this is a perfect fit for me!

JCI Fashion Show 2019!!

This year I got the amazing opportunity of being invited to JCI's student fashion show. I was so excited to attend and be a part of all of the amazing fashion however I woke up sick the morning of (so sad)! Luckily, the hard-working team at JCI sent me so many lovely videos and pictures showcasing the students work which made me so excited to still get a chance to see it all go down! So much so, that I thought I'd share it with you all! The best part is, all of the proceeds from the fashion show go to the Covenant House of B.C. Here are some of the stunning looks done by some of their students!

I can't wait to hopefully be invited back next year to see all of this live! Make sure you check out all of their fashion/beauty programs @ https://www.jcinstitute.com !!

The Perfect Summer Jumpsuit!

This jumpsuit is so great for summer! It has a really cute tie in the back which adds a nice detail to an otherwise pretty simple black jumpsuit. I personally am wearing this to a pre wedding lunch in October but it's perfect for many occasions! I really like the simplicity of it because you can wear it a few times for sure. Definitely go check out the RW&CO website. Tagged below along with the jumpsuit.

Skin Update!!

It's been a couple weeks since I've posted but I'm back! This week I'm posting my updated skincare routine. After trying SO many products, the ones I've listed below have truly been the only products that have gotten the texture and blemishes under control. My skin is literally better than ever even with travelling and tons of fitness/work. Ive been using this product line for six months.

Cerave everything. Literally obsessed!

1. My favourite cleanser is for sure the SA cleanser. It easily takes off all of my makeup and makes my skin feel really fresh.

2. My go to moisturizer (they're all good though) is the Ultra Light one. As the name suggests its super light on the skin which I like for an everyday moisturizer because I always put it on before foundation. This one also has 30 SPF which is so important for the health of your skin.

Balancing Work / School / Blogging / Fitness!!

Hey everyone,

Today I'm talking about a subject that I've been struggling with and I'm sure a lot of people can relate too. As a full time student with a part time job, I struggle balancing the necessities of my life with my passions which are blogging and fitness. Blogging fulfills me like nothing else and fitness allows both my physical and mental health to stay in check (and frankly, I couldn't live without it). This all becomes A LOT to handle and manage at the same time. Additionally, I am twenty years old and love hanging out with my family and friends as well as occasionally going out! If I'm being honest, I am so far from mastering the task of balance, but I'm working on it! I've come a long way especially in the last year. I threw up a couple tricks that have helped me, but I'd like to hear your tips too! Leave a comment below.
1. Get a planner!! This helps to keep me on track and eliminates the risk of forgetting an assignment or important mee…

Suki’s Salon / L’Oréal Hair / Bicom PR!!

Last week Bicom PR reached out to me and gave me the awesome opportunity to have my hair refreshed with a fresh colour and hair cut! They used a new product line which is called Botanea (ultimately they use components of henna to create a more natural hair colour)! The two stylists Miguel and Gwen from Suki’s Salon on South Granville treated me great! After the whole experience I am very happy with the result of how my hair looks with both the new colour and the cut as well.

John Casablanca Institute!!

John Casablanca Institute: This week I got the chance to check out JCI which is Canada's top fashion, hair, and makeup school! The building is super cute and the employees who I've gotten the chance to interact with have been very nice. They have six different programs: Fashion Business, Fashion Design, Makeup Artistry, Fashion + Beauty Makeup, Body Spa Esthetics, and Hair Art Design. The amount of programs that JCI has to offer attracts a lot of people making the school a much more broad learning centre than its competitors.
Location: JCI is located a block down Water street from the waterfront station, in the very trendy district of Gastown. The location is surrounded by Cafes, designers and photographers, this artsy hub is accessible and convenient.

Salon:
JCI also has a salon which allows the students to practice their work on paying customers. The rates are extremely discounted rate.
