Five Ways to Stay Fit/Healthy at University!!

I've created a list of five ways to stay fit/healthy at university!!

  1. Drink water! Sometimes if you're super dehydrated you over eat when really your body just needs more water!
  2. Go to your university gym 3-5 times a week (whatever is manageable for you)! Make sure to pick a set amount of times that you are going to go and stick to it for the whole year!!
  3. Trust me, I know cafeteria food can be brutal. Try to find the fruit, vegetables, eggs, soup, and any other things that are more healthy than most of the things that are filled with dairy and carbs!
  4. Pick a detox tea to drink that works for you and do it!! There is a lot of controversy around this but if you do the research and pick one that works for you it can be really beneficial. I drink the Your Tea Tiny Tea and it has really made me less bloated and more energetic. You can buy it at: (https://canada.yourtea.com/products/28dayteatox)
  5. Get as much sleep as you possibly can!!

Five Things I Wish I Knew Going Into First Year University!!

As summer comes to an end, it's time for all the students to prepare for the next year of studies! I'm going into my second year and really looking forward to it! I've created a list of five things I wish I knew before going into first year university. This list is purely created based on experience. Feel free to share with anyone you know heading off to post secondary education as it may not only apply to first years! I live in Vancouver and go to school in Ontario so this list may be a little biased for the people who are leaving home as that is my experience! Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy and I hope this helps you in some way!

1. FACETIME is a life changer and when you're away from your family and friends it can at times be the only thing that gets you through the inevitable home sick days so USE it.
2. Organize yourself BEFORE school starts. This could include an agenda, making sure your room is organized, creating a workout schedule, etc.
3. Even though university…

My Week Away In LA!!

Just got back from LA so I thought this week I would share some pictures, restaurants, a hotel recommendation, some night life recommendations, and how great my trip went! Two friends and I went to LA and stayed for a week! We met great people there and had a lot of fun!

Below is a picture from a place called Carrero Cafe! They're specialty is to print whatever you want on the top of your latte! It was really cute and the coffee was great.

We also went to an awesome cupcake place that has a cupcake ATM outside! It is called Sprinkles Cupcakes and it is a must go if you are ever in LA! Sprinkles Cupcakes is located in the middle of Beverly Hills! My personal favourite cupcake is the red velvet!
On our second last day we went to the Beverly Hills Hotel! The food was great and there are a lot of good picture opportunities there too! I got the Strawberry Waffles and they were so tasty!
I don't have too many pictures from going out as far as night life in LA but we went to Nighting…
