How To Get Through Being Homesick!!

When it comes to being away from home... I've got a few tips and tricks.

1. Utilize FaceTime. It's an awesome thing and even though it's not as good as actually being with people, its as close as you're going to get.
2. Stay busy. I find for myself personally working out 4-5 times a week really helps me stay busy and motivated.
3. Plan when you're going to be home next. If there's a date set you can count down and have that to look forward to.
4. Write letters. Writing letters and receiving letters from people you miss at home can be really nice.

5. Talk about it with people who are feeling the same way. There are likely so many people in the same position as you. Talk about it. Having said this, don't obsess over it with them because that will only make it worse.

6. Being homesick is okay. It is very normal for young people but also anyone. Just know that when you do finally get home with the people you miss it will be really special and very worth it.

Weekend Away In Ottawa!!

Hey Guys!! Hope everyone who is a student is enjoying reading break and to everyone else I hope you had a good weekend. I went to Ottawa and I have created a list of the best things I did and places I went.

1. Beavertails!! These are an awesome Canadian dessert (Very sweet). A lot of Canadian cities have a Beavertail location so you should be able to find one if you live in a city in Canada. My favourite one is the Nutella one.
2. Went to visit Parliament Hill. Ottawa is Canada's Capital city and the Parliament buildings here are so beautiful and nice. They are way bigger than I expected. I feel like everyone has to go visit the parliament buildings if you are Canadian. 3. We went on a free horse ride around downtown Ottawa and it was really awesome!! The horse took us all around the ByWard market and by some great views of Ottawa.
4. The King Eddy Restaurant. This place has really awesome food. They have all day breakfast and really good burgers too. When I went I had the all day…

How I Keep My Skin Clear!!

Below I've made a list of products and tips of how I keep my skin clear!!

1. The obvious thing to do is to wash your face in the morning and the night. I use the Cetaphil Cleanser and it works really great for me at least. There are a lot of great cleansers so I would suggest trying out what works best for you.

2. Also, make sure to moisturize after washing your face in the morning and moisturize your face after washing in the night time too. I use the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizer and it is the best one that I've ever used. Really keeps my skin soft and hydrated too.

3. There are a few products from the brand Essance Skincare (essanceskincare.com) that have really improved my skin recently. Personally my favourites are the Dragon Blood Toner, the Dragon Blood Serum, and their 3-1 antioxidant eye cream. The eye cream really brightens the under eye area and is really great.

4. DRINK WATER. The most important tip. If you drink water it helps detoxify your skin and …
