How To Treat Yourself To A "Me Day"!!


Everyone loves taking a day to relax all by yourself and do things that make you feel good. I have a few tips for how to improve your next "Me Day" and I want to share them with you!! Since I'm at university, I barely ever do these things but when I'm back at home and even next year when I move out of residence, I hope to do it a lot more.

Tip #1: Face Mask. Doing a face mask can be so relaxing and feels so nice. I've been using the Teraclay Face Mask and its really awesome.

Tip #2: Have a long bath or shower. I find that if I am really overwhelmed or stressed out if I have a bath or shower it helps me so much. Especially if you're constantly around people it can be really nice to have some time by yourself.

Tip #3: Take yourself for coffee. This one sounds kind of funny but going for coffee by yourself can be so nice and relaxing.

Tip #4: Order in some food. If you do this a lot it can be expensive but it is really nice as a treat!!

  3. I lovee having Me Days!! I wish I could do all of these things right now! Coffee and takeout sounds great now! Maybe Saturday I'll have some extra time for the face mask :)

How I Keep My Skin Clear!!

Below I've made a list of products and tips of how I keep my skin clear!!

1. The obvious thing to do is to wash your face in the morning and the night. I use the Cetaphil Cleanser and it works really great for me at least. There are a lot of great cleansers so I would suggest trying out what works best for you.

2. Also, make sure to moisturize after washing your face in the morning and moisturize your face after washing in the night time too. I use the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizer and it is the best one that I've ever used. Really keeps my skin soft and hydrated too.

Personally my favourites are the Dragon Blood Toner, the Dragon Blood Serum, and their 3-1 antioxidant eye cream. The eye cream really brightens the under eye area and is really great.

Five Things I Wish I Knew Going Into First Year University!!

As summer comes to an end, it's time for all the students to prepare for the next year of studies! I'm going into my second year and really looking forward to it! I've created a list of five things I wish I knew before going into first year university. This list is purely created based on experience. Feel free to share with anyone you know heading off to post secondary education as it may not only apply to first years! I live in Vancouver and go to school in Ontario so this list may be a little biased for the people who are leaving home as that is my experience! Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy and I hope this helps you in some way!

1. FACETIME is a life changer and when you're away from your family and friends it can at times be the only thing that gets you through the inevitable home sick days so USE it.
2. Organize yourself BEFORE school starts. This could include an agenda, making sure your room is organized, creating a workout schedule, etc.
