Respect Your Universe - A lifestyle!!

Respect Your Universe (RYU) is a Vancouver based Urban Athletic brand that targets towards the multi-disciplined athlete. Respect Your Universe is now expanding to LA and New York in the near future! The brand represents respecting yourself, your choices, everyone around you, and having a fundamental understanding of how extraordinary our differences make us. The company was founded in 2014 and has been a great success ever since then.

Personally I love RYU for multiple reasons but here are the main few:

1) The purpose and integrity that make up RYU's core values are like no other.

2) All said and done, the clothing, hats, and bags are really cool looking. The fabric is the highest quality which is the best part.

3) Everything is SO comfortable and I can't wait to get my hands on more of their stuff. The clothing is super functional and you don't have to just wear it to the gym or your chosen sport, you can wear it all day long (I do at least!)!

In the photos above I am wearing the 39Thirty Stretch Fit Hat $33 (Red), the Standard Issue Tee $55 (White), and the Express Pack 15L Backpack $95.

RYU is having a warehouse sale on March eighth and ninth at the Beaumont Studios in Vancouver!!

This is a brand I wear & love so I'm so happy to be able to share this post.
You can purchase RYU at: bit.ly/2tO8fr3DHowell go check it out!!

Five Things I Wish I Knew Going Into First Year University!!

As summer comes to an end, it's time for all the students to prepare for the next year of studies! I'm going into my second year and really looking forward to it! I've created a list of five things I wish I knew before going into first year university. This list is purely created based on experience. Feel free to share with anyone you know heading off to post secondary education as it may not only apply to first years! I live in Vancouver and go to school in Ontario so this list may be a little biased for the people who are leaving home as that is my experience! Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy and I hope this helps you in some way!

1. FACETIME is a life changer and when you're away from your family and friends it can at times be the only thing that gets you through the inevitable home sick days so USE it.
2. Organize yourself BEFORE school starts. This could include an agenda, making sure your room is organized, creating a workout schedule, etc.
3. Even though university…
