Weekend In My Life (Vancouver)!!

This weekend I decided to create a post about my home city and what a weekend in my life is like here!! I work Monday to Friday so I always try to enjoy my weekends as much as possible!! The weather in Vancouver has been so nice recently so this weekend I went to the beach a bunch and really tried to soak in the sun while it's here.

I went for dinner at Cactus Club on friday night & to a place in Yaletown called Tavern!

On Saturday morning I went for brunch at a place my family frequents called the Reagle Beagle and then for coffee at a great place downtown called Quantam:
Today (Sunday) I was able to get over to Granville island for coffee with a friend and it was so great!! Granville Island is amazing because there are always street performers which is super relaxing for a Sunday morning.

Five Things I Wish I Knew Going Into First Year University!!

As summer comes to an end, it's time for all the students to prepare for the next year of studies! I'm going into my second year and really looking forward to it! I've created a list of five things I wish I knew before going into first year university. This list is purely created based on experience. Feel free to share with anyone you know heading off to post secondary education as it may not only apply to first years! I live in Vancouver and go to school in Ontario so this list may be a little biased for the people who are leaving home as that is my experience! Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy and I hope this helps you in some way!

1. FACETIME is a life changer and when you're away from your family and friends it can at times be the only thing that gets you through the inevitable home sick days so USE it.
2. Organize yourself BEFORE school starts. This could include an agenda, making sure your room is organized, creating a workout schedule, etc.
3. Even though university…

Balancing Work / School / Blogging / Fitness!!

Hey everyone,

Today I'm talking about a subject that I've been struggling with and I'm sure a lot of people can relate too. As a full time student with a part time job, I struggle balancing the necessities of my life with my passions which are blogging and fitness. Blogging fulfills me like nothing else and fitness allows both my physical and mental health to stay in check (and frankly, I couldn't live without it). This all becomes A LOT to handle and manage at the same time. Additionally, I am twenty years old and love hanging out with my family and friends as well as occasionally going out! If I'm being honest, I am so far from mastering the task of balance, but I'm working on it! I've come a long way especially in the last year. I threw up a couple tricks that have helped me, but I'd like to hear your tips too! Leave a comment below.
1. Get a planner!! This helps to keep me on track and eliminates the risk of forgetting an assignment or important mee…
